Starting April 1, 2020, TheBus will operate on a state holiday schedule instead of the regular Monday-Friday weekday schedule. Saturday and Sunday schedules will run as usual.
The change was made to provide transportation where it is necessary for essential workers.
Furthermore, the bus pass office at Kalihi Transit Center will close on March 30th. Monthly bus passes for April will be honored for both the month of April and May.
TheHandi-Van will continue to operate. Riders can contact TheHandi-Van call center at 456-5555 to schedule a ride.
Some routes have been added to fill in areas that do not operate on state holidays and others will also be modified. City officials has urged to only use public transportation for essential travel.
