Free Meals Ready toEat distribution on Wednesday

To help out the campus community, the Student Activities Board, will  be distributing  of MREs (emergency meals) from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday,  July 31 on campus.

The purpose of these Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) is to help the HonCC community be prepared for the upcoming storms. They can also be used to help meet the needs of the community college campus community who has everyday struggles with food security.

The meals will be given out, while supplies last, at the Student Government Office (Bldg 2, Room 116). There will be a limit of one case, or 12 meals, per person.

One case (12 meals) per person.

Each meal is about 2 pounds. If you plan to take a case, you will want to bring a hand truck to carry the case and/or pull up to the loading zone (between buildings 2 & 7) with your vehicle. Individual meals are available as well.
