Phi Theta Kappa members go to Texas

Five students Honolulu College students represented the school at the Phi Theta Kappa International Convention in San Antonio, Texas this month.

Clarence Cottrell (President), Jan Abo Vierra (VP of Service), Conrad Bruce Rivera (VP of Scholarship), Devon Rosete (VP of Leadership), and Leianne Kauweloa (Chapter Senator) – participated in the event, according to the group’s adviser, Lena Low.

The Honolulu chapter of the honor society for community college students was named a Top 100 Chapter in the country, out of 1250 chapters, Low said.
