Copper rose sale starts at 9:30 Friday morning

The sale of special copper roses made by sheet metal students at Honolulu Community College begins at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

But we’ve heard reports of people lining up outside the door by 7 a.m. in past years.

This year, students hope to have about 600 of the copper roses for sale. They cost $15 each. All the roses are usually sold out by mid-morning.
