UH students can apply for the UH Urgent Student Relief Fund

University of Hawai’i and UH Foundation has created the UH Urgent Student Relief Fund to help support students who are in a financial hardship due to COVID-19.

Students enrolled at all 10 UH campuses can apply for the one time emergency relief fun. Applications are due by 4 pm each Wednesday with notification the following week.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. You are currently enrolled at one or more of the UH campuses in a credit certificate or degree program.
  2. You have a documentable temporary financial need resulting from an unexpected emergency event. Urgent Student Relief funding would, in turn, support your ability to be successful and make academic progress.
  3. Preference will be given to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in at least a half-time status (e.g. 6 credits for undergraduates).

UH is anticipating many applications for the Urgent Student Relief. UH will make every attempt to review and process your application as quickly as possible and as funding permits.
