Hawaii’s first official COVID-19 death

The Hawai’i Department of Health (HDOH) reports one coronavirus-related death, making this Hawaii’s first official COVID-19 death. DOH officials are investigating the circumstances of the death.

Furthermore, 20 new cases have been reported with one case on the Big Island, 18 cases on Oahu, and two currently pending. Total number is now 224 as of March 31st.

Three people have been released from isolation, which makes a total of 58 people who have recovered.
