President Trump announced he is funding for the World Health organization (WHO) on Tuesday April 14, 2020.
Trump has accused the WHO of “severely mismanaging and covering up” the coronavirus crisis.
While Trump downplayed the crisis and ignored warnings from members of his own administration about the potential severity of the outbreak, Trump decided to blame others, including WHO and China.
“It could have been contained at its source,” Trump said.
Many criticized Trump for disbanding the National Security Council, the agency responsible for keeping track of diseases and viruses around the world. The demise of the team id now under scrutiny as the Trump administration struggles to respond to the coronavirus outbreak.
