The UH bookstore system is offering a new lilne of Hawaii Pride T-Shirts to start the year off right — in your own school color.
This year’s HI Pride T-Shirt Design Contest winner is UH Mānoa alumna JinLing Yan from Honolulu.
Yan received 885 votes for her HI Pride design depicting the Hawaiian islands and the hibiscus. “The Hawaiian native yellow hibiscus is our state flower, and it perfectly represents the warmth from all of the people and our beautiful ʻaina,” she said.
The shirts are available in all UH Bookstores. The shirts will be available in black, white and grey as well as all UH campus colors: Teal is the HonCC color.
Students with a valid UH ID are eligible for a discount on the first shirt they purchase. Reusable bags featuring this year’s HI Pride design will also be available.
