39 people in Hawaii have recovered from COVID-19

The Hawai’i Department of Health (HDOH) reported 29 new COVID-19 cases in Hawai’i, bringing the state total at 151 as of March 28.

Here’s the breakdown of the new cases: 3 cases on Big Island, 19 cases on Oahu, 6 cases on Kauai, 1 case pending, and 2 cases of Hawai’i residents diagnosed outside of the state.

Out of the 151 patients, 39 people have gotten better and have been released from isolation. The HDOH has updated their webpage with the amount of people who’ve been recovered and released.

There have been no confirmed coronavirus-linked deaths in the islands.
