Honolulu Community College Arts & Soul Festival Coming Soon

Honolulu Community College will be holding a 4-day celebration of student artistry and craftsmanship starting the week of April 6th.

The HonCC Arts & Soul Festival will include student poetry readings, a campus art tour, a visual arts gallery, a musical concert and open mic, and a flea-market event showcasing student-made art. There will be a raku pottery station for everyone and so much more.

Students interested in showcasing their work in the Art & Soul Magazine should submit them to . Deadline for submissions is this Saturday, Feb. 29. All types of creative art – photography, drawing and painting, digital art, poetry and fictional stories, song lyrics, woodworking, fashion design, tattoo art and more – are welcome.

Students interested in displaying their work in a Maker’s Meet-Up event on the lawn next to the mall on April 7, should contact the Student Media Board at  or visit them at Building 2, Room 115, by March 11. Participation is limited to the first 12 people to sign up.
