Honolulu’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society for community colleges, will hold its fall induction of new members next month.
Poet and Language Arts Professor Eric Shaffer will be the guest speaker at the ceremony, which honors students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
The ceremony is scheduled from 5:45 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the Loui Room, Bldg 2, Room 201. The entire campus is invited to attend.
