The HonCC speech department will host its Spring Intramural Debate in Building 7, Room 521 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 12.
Opening rounds of the debate start at 9 a.m. The finals will be held about 12:30 o.,m.
Feel free to stop by and support the dozens of HonCC students who will be competing in the event.
This year’s debate topics are:
- Helicopter parents cause harm to their children’s development
- Benefits of artificial intelligence outweigh the risks.
- Junk food should be taxed to discourage consumption
