Egyptian Celebration on campus Thursday

An event celebrating the country of Egypt was held March 7 in the HCC cafeteria.

Students, faculty, and guests were able to learn about the interesting history and culture of Egypt, and watch authentic Egyptian dances.

Along with learning more about the culture, popular Egyptian food, including hummus, pita bread, stuffed grape leaves garbanzo bean stew, and hibiscus tea, were also be offered, free of charge.

There was  also  activities, including getting henna tattoos and writing hieroglyphics on real papyrus.
