HCC Trash to Treasures Contest 2019

The fifth annual Trash to Treasures contest is looking for new submissions from students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

There is a common saying that goes “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” and in this case, one man’s trash is becoming his treasure.

The Trash to Treasure contest emphasizes the importance of going green because items that are commonly thrown away or seen as useless are turned into a piece of art or something useful. Submissions are then displayed during the Sustainability Showcase on April 17th from 9 AM to 1 PM. Work may be submitted to [email protected] with the deadline being April 12th. Based on votes made by attendees, the top three submissions from students and from the facualy/staff will be awarded. For more information, contact John DeLay at [email protected].
