Threepeat!
For the third year in a row, a team from Honolulu CC has won the IM LeeSports intramural volleyball championship in Hawaii.
Team Teal defeated a strong team from Windward CC two sets to one Wednesday night to clinch the title at Halawa Gym. Earlier in the night, the Teal defeated UH West Oahu and Leeward CC to make it to the championship game. The team lost the first game, but came back to win the next two in deciding set, showing the talent and grit that have made them champions in the two previous years.
Congratulations to all the Team Teal members: Hazel Artistes, Chris Chung, Stanton Coen, James DeMello, Aldrich Fernando, Ginger Kropik, Kala’i Leopoldo, Joseph Pelesasa, Iokepa Sharpe, Guyson Shimabukuro, and Perritte Togafau
