The taro is (almost) ready

HCC’s Ka Mala o Niuhelewai (The garden of Niuhelewai) is nearly two years old — the it’s time to harvest the taro again.

The garden’s second annual Ho’olaulea’a will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.

There will be music,  food from the garden and other Hawaiian treats.  The event is open to everyone on campus.
