Aiea Public Library’s photovoltaic solar panels are finally up and running.
The Hawaii State Public Library System made the announcement Tuesday evening.
It says the 75 kW system, which was was originally installed as part of the new library construction project, could not be interconnected to Hawaii Electric Company’s service grid.
