Dr. Manulani Aluuli Meyer, a former Associate Professor of Education at UH-Hilo who currently works with more than 35,000 students in New Zealand, will discuss “The Brilliance of our Homeland: Lessons Learned from Aotearoa” in a forum at Honolulu Community College from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 in the school cafeteria.
Meyer earned her doctorate from Harvard while learning how to articulate aspects of Hawaiian epistemology through land, people, history and dreams.or an exciting faculty and staff development event.
