UH students are celebrating Hawaii Fashion Month this October.
This past Thursday, renowned textile artist Akihiko Izukura offered a workshop in Manoa on creating an eco-friendly scarf.
On Oct. 12, there will be a fashion show at Fishcake, on Kamani Street in Honolulu. Alumni of the UH Fashion Design/Merchandising Program and HonCC’s Fashion Technology program showcase their new work. Admission is free from 6-9 p.m.
The UH Media Production Office System has a social media event supporting Hawaii Fashion Month. On Instagram, UH students, faculty and staff across all campuses are welcome to share their style.
